Descriptions:

A collection of travel moments and memories from around our planet through my eyes and camera. I haven’t been able to shoot the way I normally do for a couple months now. So I decided to create this short travel montage OUR PLANET | MY EYES from a few different parts of the world I’ve recently visited.

As I skimmed through all the footage I’ve collected recently, I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing on the memories associated with each particular shot or scene. Whether it was riding camels in Saudi Arabia, flying above the Great Wall of China or sailing through the islands Raja Ampat, It reminded me how important the healthy fear of the unknown is and how powerful travel can be as it teaches us lessons along the way. So this collection/montage of travel moments are some incredible memories that have genuinely had a big impact on my life. I’m NOT a travel nomad or call myself a full time traveler but I’ve been incredibly fortunate on where my career choice has taken me and the memories it has allowed me to capture and learn from.

I first wanted to create a compilation of all the places I’ve traveled but quickly realised it made the edit far too messy and probably too long, so I narrowed down a few themes and created this travel film from about 12 countries and various locations within them.
Kenya (Maasai mara, Amboseli), Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, China, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Indonesia (Flores, Sumatra, Bali, Lombok, Raja Ampat, East Java), Guam, Saudi Arabia (Empty quater), Brazil (Rio de Janeiro).

Thanks to all those that have been with me and allowed me these experiences, especially to those I’ve met along the way! Hopefully this can become a yearly series as I look back on what my camera captures each year…..that’s if I get to continue doing this.
