Presenting the cultural beauty of uttrakhand with blissful melody of “RUPSA”
Making of Rupsa has an interesting story behind it.
While looking for the location to shoot the song ,we travelled across Uttrakhand and ended up in a beautiful village “Ghamsali” situated very close to the Tibetan border.
The ladies who can be seen in this song were kind n big hearted enough to wear their traditional attire for us and dance to the song,they also shared about how they miss their children who have moved to the cities specialy because ghamsali is a no network zone and they had not spoken to their children even once during the entire lockdown.
Just beause they want to preserve their village,traditions and their ancestral homes these people live in ghamsali for 6 months a year during the summers and move down to lower altitude during the harsh winters in the village
